The Iveco Effeuno 571.12 was a 12-meter interurban and suburban bus produced in Italy during the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was part of the wider Effeuno family. Powered by Fiat engines and often equipped with Voith or ZF automatic gearboxes, the 571.12 served extensively across Italian regions, also, several units were exported after decommissioning.
In Romania, former Italian 571.12s were used for suburban routes in cities like Bucharest and Cluj. In Serbia and Bulgaria, some units continued service in rural and intercity networks. These buses were valued for their mechanical simplicity and availability of spare parts, often lasting well into the 2010s in Eastern European fleets.
